Persol was born in Turin in 1917 out of a need to create reliable eyewear for pilots, athletes, and those working in demanding conditions. Over time, functionality merged with Italian craftsmanship to create a design language that has remained recognizable for over a century.
A hallmark of the brand is the metallic Supreme Arrow symbol, inspired by a sword, and the patented Meflecto system, which allows the temples to flex and adapt to the face. High-quality acetate frames undergo dozens of manual production steps, which give them their characteristic depth of color, smooth finish, and comfortable fit.
The brand's legends include the foldable 714 model, made famous by Steve McQueen. To this day, Persol combines technical ingenuity, Italian cinematic elegance, and a design that does not need to follow every new season.
