Valentino was founded by Valentino Garavani and Giancarlo Giammetti in Rome in 1960. The fashion house grew from the tradition of Italian haute couture and became famous for its precise craftsmanship, romantic grandeur, and elegance closely linked to the culture of the Eternal City.
