Company History

The company DUOS was established in 1999, originally as a wholesaler of premium sunglasses and prescription glasses. In 2014, the owners identified a gap in the market - opticians in the Slovak and Czech Republics were not offering luxury eyewear priced above €500. A test store, following significant customer interest, indicated that there was indeed a demand for luxury eyewear assortments. In 2017, a store was opened in Bratislava at the Eurovea shopping center, followed by another in Prague. In 2024, DUOS expanded with a new store in Bratislava, which also includes an eye clinic.

Product Portfolio

The product portfolio consists of two lines. The first line, which is the most important for the company as it distinguishes it from the competition, is the luxury line. This includes exclusive eyewear models, predominantly handcrafted and embellished with precious materials. The luxury line includes the following brands: Maybach, Dita, Thom Browne, Cartier, Cazal, Chopard, Chrome Hearts.

The second line is called fashion and consists mainly of more affordable eyewear models. This line includes the following brands: Ray-Ban, Jimmy Choo, Givenchy, Tommy Hilfiger, Moschino, MaxMara, Hugo Boss, Carrera, Marc Jacobs, MYKITA, Dior, Dior Homme, Fendi, Gucci, Polaroid, Elie Saab, Prada, Dolce & Gabbana, Oakley, Versace, Anna Karin Karlsson, Miu Miu, Bvlgari, Balenciaga, Mont Blanc, Saint Laurent.
